Create Your Own Fundraising Page: 5 Steps in Under 5 Minutes
Step 1: Register for an Account
- Enter your email address, ZIP code and password.
- Click Register to receive a confirmation email with a link for your Fundraising Dashboard.
Step 2: Create Your Page
- On your Fundraising Dashboard, click Create a Page.
- Enter a fundraising goal, or the amount you hope to raise.
- Name your page. (Example: Help Support Our Jewish Community)
- Write a message to people who may be interested in supporting you or your cause. Sample text is already provided, but you can change it however you wish.
- Add a picture. The default picture is the Federation logo. You may upload a photo of yourself or an image that is meaningful to you.
- Select your contribution amounts.
Step 3: View Your Page
On your Dashboard Menu, click View Your Page to see what your page looks like. This is the page that your friends will see.
You can change your pictures and page text anytime and as often as you’d like. Click Edit Your Page to make changes.
Step 4: Invite Your Friends
After you create your page, invite your friends to see!
- On your Dashboard Menu, choose Invite Your Friends and enter up to five friends at a time.
- After you create your page, you can embed your Thermometer code into your Facebook page, blog or website of choice to encourage friends and family to support you.
Step 5: Enjoy Making a Difference
